friends, unfortunately I am having to push back the release of the responsorial. the new release date is, tentatively, 11.30.23. the initial pressing of the vinyl had significant factory wear and tear, and while the errors are primarily cosmetic, there are audio quality issues as well, and I do not feel comfortable releasing this version of the album as is. I have been in touch with the manufacturer, and URP has generously agreed to repress 200 units at no extra cost, and on different equipment.

11.30.23 is a significant date for this album. towing the line of vulnerability and dramatization, it is the date that I first learned of the pastoral religious abuse that this record is largely about. perhaps the chronic mechanical friction of this project is necessitating just that, the friction of vulnerability, the weight of our stories pressed against transistors and tape and vinyl.
