Friends, pre-orders for The Responsorial are live at davidliestman.bandcamp.com in vinyl, vinyl bundle, and digital download editions. The accompanying zine is also available for immediate order. I am beyond excited and overwhelmed. The album should drop in late August, officially, as in, officially.

Our first listening party happened this past Sunday in OKC at The Big Friendly for a group of 20 people, all friends and family. It was a beautiful experience, at once a beer bar, lively and boisterous, and in another minute a library, I heard several people exhale after songs ended. At risk of egoism, the feedback was good, and that feels really good.

Consuming Fire video is also out, as in officially, today. Jonathan Pickett did an incredible job blending Super 8mm and digital footage. Audio was recorded live by me on 1/4″ tape in our house in City Heights, SD. I am proud of that too. You can watch that on YouTube.
